JanaJagarana on Wheels emerged from our deep understanding of the challenges rural communities face in accessing education and technology. During our outreach programs, we noticed the stark difference in access to digital resources between urban and rural areas. Many rural students and adults expressed their eagerness to learn but lacked the infrastructure to do so. We realized that bringing the resources to them through a mobile unit was the most practical and impactful solution. With this, JanaJagarana on Wheels was born — a way to extend learning beyond fixed centers and into the heart of rural communities.
JanaJagarana on Wheels is an innovative mobile initiative that aims to bring computer training and access to a library of knowledge to the rural corners of our society. We will set up a fully equipped bus, installed with computers and educational resources, which will travel across rural areas, making technology and information accessible to communities with limited resources. This mobile learning center will provide essential computer training, digital literacy, and access to a library of books and educational materials, helping bridge the educational divide between urban and rural regions.
With the lack of digital infrastructure in many rural areas, JanaJagarana on Wheels seeks to empower individuals by providing free access to both practical computer skills and academic knowledge. Our goal is to create opportunities for students, job seekers, and adults who are eager to learn but have limited means to access these resources.
By reaching even the most remote villages, JanaJagarana on Wheels will ensure that no one is left behind in the digital age. Through this mobile classroom and library, we aim to foster learning, self-reliance, and digital empowerment for a brighter future.
